a metal wall for sterling pig

I spent most of this very cold winter bundled up, working on a room divider for Sterling Pig Brewery, a new brewery opening in Media, PA. Although it is not yet finished, I thought I would put up some images of the piece in progress. The plan is to install March 14th and the Grand Opening of the Brewery will be the end of April. Check back after the 14th to see pictures of the piece installed…or better yet, stop in for a beer and enjoy it in person!

a sketch for the proposal. the final piece will include barrels and cut wood for the oven. I love the concept of functional sculpture.

couldn’t help temporarily screwing some of the taps onto the sculpture to see how they will look later.

this wheel was quite a challenge to lift by myself and it took way longer then expected to get the placement right.

this heavy wheel tried to get the better of me. i won in the end though!
